The documentary Syria’s disappeared. The Case against Assad will be broadcast today, Thursday 23rd March, at 10pm on Channel 4.
This documentary, by Sara Afshar and Nicola Cutcher, shows the powerful testimonies of Syrian victims and survivors Mazen Alhummada, Mansour Omari and Mariam Hallaq, and analyses the work done by several international lawyers, including the legal team of Guernica 37 International Justice Chambers and G37 Despacho Internacional, in pursuit for accountability.
In her article “‘Please don’t forget us’: the hellish search for Syria’s lost prisoners“, published on 21st March 2017 at The Guardian, documentary maker Nicola Cutcher introduced the subject of the film and exposed the gruesome reality of those who are held in the regime’s detention centres.
